It all started with a dream of entrepreneurship and a love for creating.

Hey, I’m Liza — founder of Media by J. My marketing journey kicked off in college when I landed my dream student job: Social Media Producer + Videographer for my university’s Recreation department. I dove in headfirst, spending the next year and a half learning everything I could while promoting campus programs.

From there, I took on a marketing role at a local jewelry store I adored — and within three months, I was promoted to Social Media Manager. With a mix of everything I’d learned (plus some trial and error), I built a community that not only engaged — but converted into loyal customers.

Then came early 2024. Degree in hand, I found myself scrolling LinkedIn, saving corporate job listings I thought I wanted. But deep down? I knew that path wasn’t mine. That 9-5 dream belonged to someone else.

My dream was to blend creativity, connection, and find a way to help others — while building something of my own. From there, Media by J was born.

Now here we are — two business owners chasing big dreams. Through intentional content, strategic social media, and maybe some iced coffee, I’ll bring your vision to life so you can get back to running the business you love.
